95legwagon Posted March 19, 2013 Report Share Posted March 19, 2013 well its well known amongst many car audio guys that the high freq. is what causes the damage...... not saying that the lows cant hurt your ears because im sure it can cause damage but you would have to be very loud to have this happen........ ask your mom if shes ever been to a concert when she was younger or anytime recently for that matter and when she left the concert ,if her ears were ringing? when you hear ringing after listening to something loud you have done damage ( maybe not alot or anything noticable) the wall will be loud on lows but unless your going to hit a really high number on TL i wouldnt worry about it. plenty of people are running with a wall and serious power and havent complained of hearing issues. another thing is: you wont be running full tilt for long enough to do damage anyways..... and daily driving nobody listens full tilt the whole time...... edit: i was ninja'd a few times on a few things lol damn yall are quick! i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit.
