I know its not a long wire run, but your cramming all the current into that one final run from the left alt to the battery? Just curious. Check the voltage and current while disconnecting the field wires on the other alt. If everything's in parallel its difficult to tell if both are working separately. That beer is making me thirsty...... I also drilled and screwed in 4 locations. Through the panel, and into the door skin.
