1 use subwoofer gain knob.

2 headunit subwoofer control.

3 I think it the LC1 thru rca.

4 Add an eq/linedriver/ audiocontrol unit

i myself like inline RCA knobs to control the level. then i'm not add anything from head unit or the amp unless i want to. i can keep everything nice and flat then go from there on adjustments

not sure what you are asking, or if you are asking at all...

I would think proper airspace/enclosure would be the best way to control a subwoofer.

Maybe i am missing something here

When using the gain knob am i tampering with the amps voltage? Does this mess up dd1 settings
