Deathmatched A 144.9...questions

Played around at Autorama on a deathmatch against a local sac competitor, was hella fun. Managed an easy 144.9 over 3 minutes.

What would it take to do that again with a 150 in Deathmatch?, it would be crazy huh. Figure you gotta have a wall and some SERIOUS SERIOUS equipment. I know Mike in the Van might be able to do that.

1. he needs power after 30 secs his numbers start to drop

2. 3 mins of how hes pushing those speakers = blown up subs

3. to do it lots a power lots a cone area lots of batts

your car could do it winrows down i just dont think you could hold it for 3 mins without blowing up your subs

Now that's a deathmatch

For deathmatch, as soon as the timer starts you need to set your volume for 6 or 7db below your max burp spl and leave it there. If you want to do a 5 minute deathmatch at 150 then you need to be able to burp atleast a 156 or 157.

Thanks for the great info, Just setting my sights high for this season, and getting a feeling for what it will take. I know I need more than Two 15's and lots of power.

i did a 152.5 for 2 minutes with my 2 mt 18's and 4 bd1500's....it was me vs josh and he ended up roasting his subs. Mine got warm but survived! Whats crazy about that is, the thing would only burp a 152.5 and not much more.

Thats why i love groundpounders, most of my systems dont burp much higher then they play music....
