Thats too bad about DC, I've never had dealt with them before but I wouldnt have guessed that. Anyhow the solo x idea looks promising I'm sure eventually you will be able to collect all the parts you need for them. Honestly I thought 2000rms was a tad low, Im not saying 2 of them couldnt handle the 5k but I would have guessed closer to 3k.rms each sub?? but I dont know that much about those motors, I just thought that was a little wierd when I read that. Looking forward to the build

I thought the same thing, but I got to thinking, and he is most likely underrating it, just like a lot of manufacturers do, to avoid having to constantly do warranty work due to someone giving it 3K+ of dirty power. It's probably not so much the motor that is making him rate it at that, but the soft parts.

The ones I will build/ have built should take 3K daily. For example, the one in the pic has 3 spiders, mine will have at least 5. But hey only one way to find out for sure, rt?

I'm buying blown subs for the motors, so it's not that bad. I got the first one for $150, so at that rate, $600 for the motors, then about $375 for the baskets, then another $800 - $1000 to have PSI build them. So that's $1800 - $2000 if I have them built. SP4's are $2300+, so I would save actually, 300 - 500 bucks. Plus I can save a whole lot more if I end up building them myself. I could do it myself for $1400 - $1600 total.

I know SP4's are bad ass, but I feel like it's something that a lot of people have. But the Solo XXX 15's, that is something that very few people have. Plus I just think they would fit my build perfect. "Kickin' Cruiser featuring 4 custom Solo XXX 15's" Just saying it makes me all excited!

So what exactly makes the Solo X be the face brand of the custom sub. Wouldnt it be PSI's w/ custom Solo X 18" motors, unless you have the magnets showing on the outside of enclosure. Just a thought tho lol

Yes sir they will be inverted! You will see the motors 4 sure!

Plus I got something special for the cap, a little custom logo that will also be all over the car.

So technically they will be "Kickin' Cruiser Solo XXX 15's by psi".

Not sure if I will have psi build them, or just get the parts from them and do it myself. Probably have psi do it, I just need to talk to them first.

Oh and find 3 more motors! This might take me a min. I hope not, but it should be worth it in the end.
