8v fury
Glad you are making things better. I remember at the last shop I worked at I had to fix other shops screws ups and messes, its not fun having to redo something that could of been done right the first time. Alvi45
wow this is just unacceptable on so many levels i would be pissed if i paid someone to do an install and it looked like that .. more than likely he will come back and have the box redone with you.. i would because it probably isnt even made right after seeing this installing you have to question everything in this car

Dwn4BassAlan
Jesus the haunting memories. The guy I bought my '71 chevelle from had taken it to some valley audio shop and they charged him $1200 to put in the lowest end JVC headunit and speakers they make, they made "custom speaker holes by cutting through the back panel steel with TIN SNIPS, it's like a sharks mouth holding a speaker. and the best part about it? THEY DRILLED HIS "CUSTOM ENCLOSURE FOR 2 15's INTO THE GAS TANK BECAUSE THEY DRILLED INSIDE THE BOTTOM OF THE BOX. HAD TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE TANK ONCE I FOUND IT. But gasoline got all over the trunk panel for months and ate through the entire thing, needs replacing... New gas tank: And it's sort of hard to see how sharp and jagged it is, but they had to bolt it from the bottom because they left the metal bar going across in the way, real professionals. Thankfully you're here to help out Steve, but I'm mostly mad at the door panels! THOSE ARE FUCKIN EXPENSIVE FOR REPLACEMENTS! You'll be lucky to get the white set for less than $250 shipped, that shop should really pay for them........thats total bullshit.... If somebody fucked my chevelle like that I would do 11's on their face for days Edited April 20, 2013 by meade916 1 Quote Biomedical/Behavioral Science Major, The (Self-Proclaimed) Undisputed-Homemade-Woofer-King Super-Neodymium-Woofer Build Log: The D4BA-V.2 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/169236-diy-super-neodymium-woofer-build-log/?p=2475620 Fucking love Alan you goddamned fucking super nerd lol When Alan uses big words I don't understand It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. Everytime I see a guy driving a mini cooper I cant help but think he loves cock & (2/29/16)-My wife just bitched at me about throwing out things we don't really use. My response of well we don't really use your vagina so should we throw that out was evidently not the right response. I had to leave the room. I missed Alan. RIP 5/29/15 - I love you son. meade916
Time to drop in some kitty-hair and make the two pieces join together at the tip of the plastic piece. Notice the "rebar"? Even though the kitty hair is basicly self reinforcing, i wanted just a little more help to anchor it down to something so it won't just crack and fall off. after grinding down the fiberglass strip used to join the baffle to the plastic, i added some Flex Fill (flexible fiiller, hence the name ) because typical body filler does not stick to plastic very well at all. This stuff DOES. Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! meade916
I took this picture to show that the panel doesn't take up that much space at all. It is actually rather low profile for how big these panels are. Especially once i put the screen on.
