Amart88 Posted April 18, 2013 Report Posted April 18, 2013 I just got my XS D3400 put in the blazer, I have the Ibar side post adaptors on it but the factory Positive wire is still 1" too short to reach when pulled tight. I tried to get some slack but had no luck. Any advice or ways around this?, I'm lost. Thanks My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
tacomaguy1 Posted April 18, 2013 Report Posted April 18, 2013 mine reached just fine when using the ibar kit.....guess you could extend the wires, then if you do that might as well just extend them and use the xs factory top posts on the batt Team Flex Issues

Pisses me off after working all day to get it running... The negitive reaches just fine ironically. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.

I can see one goes to alt, one goes under the battery tray (fusable link?) and one goes down the wheel well beside the engine. It all trees together in some looming. EDIT: already tried to loosen alt stud. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
SnowDrifter Posted April 18, 2013 Report Posted April 18, 2013 I had a similar problem with my car. The starter cable was too short, so I just replaced that with something longer. And the stock positive had this plastic form taped to it to give it a curved shape. Cut that out and the wire is now long enough.Granted I have a Subaru instead of a Blazer... But you get the idea. Worst case is you can always use a fuse to get the extra length you need.
