Need a cut sheet

I post this picture so you understand what I mean when I say front/back/side boards, it will be what you see in the picture.

DSCI0150.jpg

So I start with the bottom board, put the front board on, then start attaching the sides and the port. Once the port and sides are secured in, I put the back board on. Then attach the baffle. I have yet to attach the baffle because I haven't cut the wholes yet, but that is my process. I had only 2 peiceces to my port, and one was signicantly shorter in length than the other. So I know it doesn't come down to switching them on accident.

Also sonny, I realize now how we got our numbers, on your picture, the port starts under the top board, my box is not like that. I have the port, and all board level, and attach the baffle to them.

Edit: I also now realize that, that is the picture I used, included with formulas, to get my port lengths. And never realized the baffle of that box. Because of how I construct my boxes, compared to how that picture is shown, I believe I need to add 3/4 of a in when I do my formulas. I am 5/8 a inch bigger on my second part of my port, which can easily be accounted to it being a 1/8 in off 3/4 because of blade thickness not being taken into account when the cut was made, which would then also back up what I just said about not added in a extra 3/4 of a inch. Does this sound any bit right?

Edit2: To double check what I am thinking ^^^^^ There, I went to the cut sheet provided by the Torres calculator. The front and back panels are 17.5" which are built internally inbetween the top and bottom boards. Which in my formula provided by Joe X, told me to accomadate 3 pieces of wood, which in my box is 19-2.25=16.75, add a extra .75 like I said and you get that 17.5" that it shuold be. I remember that convo Joe X, I am looking at the PM. I knew I was right, and was so damn confused as to why you said otherwise, but I see now that I am correct. If you think otherwise, I will listen, but damn this sucks :/

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

We have both missed out on a few things.

I wonder how torres deals with the double baffle? Cause I see 19" as total height, and side pieces are 17.5", that only acounts for two widths of wood.

Give me a minute and I'll see if I can't draw up a new sketch for you, as well as for me :)

Yep, was about to finally post that ^^

It was the Torres cut sheet that got me confused from the start I think, sorry if I made things worse

Cut sheet:

32" x 16" 3pc

32" x 16.75" 2pc

16.75" x 14.5 2pc

14.5" x 13.75" 1pc

14.5" x 11.5" 1pc

I hope that's right now

the 14.5x13.75 is supposed to be 14.5x14.5
