kingsuv Posted April 22, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 22, 2013 Clean build, I just felt bad for him at the show in sac his own doing he changed settings but everything has been gone througgh again and i personally reconed his sub now i'm curious....what happened We had set the amp with the deck settings at 0. The sub was changed to +15 and the bass was a +10. It's my fault for not clearly explaining that NOT changing any settings included the deck as well A 7.5 running .5 on a pair of XL's with plenty of power to feed the amp is quite a bit of system upgrade for him. Little bit of a learning curve to find it's limits. Might cost him a recone now and then, but in the end it will be a baddass system for him. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. What kind of hose did you use? What about connecting it at each end to the old pieces. kingsuv Posted April 26, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2013 I cut the filler neck about 3/4" from where it goes into the pump, then where it straighten out at the top. I ended up using washing machine drain tube to get the size needed and a couple clamps. It isn't a pressure hose, so it's a simple mod. Just make sure the hose is the same length assembled as the old filler neck was so the dip stick reads the same The radiator hose was a 36" universal to route around the alts. Then a relocation kit for the throttle body. The belt came with the kit and was a perfect fit. No wobble, wrap, or squeal. Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
