I just had a thought......1/0 wire will carry about 200amps or so depending on the length without a significant amount of voltage drop. The thing i noticed was the input wires going to the amps that are fused are kinda bottlenecked with only 2 fuses for the amount of 1/0 wire you have running to the distribution blocks. Its kinda defeating the purpose of having dual inputs on the amp. But i know your not done yet either..........

I thought 1/0 OFC would carry closer to 350 amps? At 20 some feet? Could be wrong love the build. Kinda glad I didn't buy that hummer the way it was! Love what you guys are doing with it now! Wish I had the skills and money to do that. That amp rack pic is gonna be my new phone background lol.

Love this build man great work! When I saw this hummer go up for sale I knew the new owner had their work cut out of them (or the new builder), but looks like you got it licked. Great job!

CCA maybe, most wire is rated at 18ft.

Yea i agree, my point was about the fusing.....With that much power for each amp and the dual inputs there should be a fuse for each wire to keep the circuits flow constant.

No.....300 amps is the maximum but that is with a few volts drop. the nominal is prob about half of that 150-200amps........ 1 amp is 6.241 × 1018 electrons, or one coulomb per second. fun fact lol

This is a pretty serious build.

I like it.

And one hell of a long read.
