Looks awesome

Thank you Sir

no chrome then for sure smoke

When things are "frenched in" and things are ready to be installed, I will install both with the light incerts and ask this question again. I think they will both look bad ass on the car.

Not sure if you have seen this before, but I remember you posting about swapping in a more modern transmission.

Dime a dozen trannies

THANK YOU FOR THE LINK !!!

Since the stock "3 on the tree" works great, I have no plans to change the tranny.

BRB using my imagination since no pics.

Ground up restoration take a long time when you have no money. I'm doing the best I can with what I have to work with Sir ...

But I do have a couple of pics to post as soon as I get time.

Thanks for checking my build log out Sir !!!

Well this past weekend did not go quite as planned.

There was going to be 4 people (not counting me and my dad) running sanders. Well, it ended up with 3 counting me.

So insted to taking stuff off of the car like I planned, we just sanded our asses off all day Saturday and half of Sunday.

We got just about the entire car down to bare metal.

Some unsuspected things (not with the car) happened and we did not get a chance to get started on actual body work.

So all that got done was sanding all of the surface rust off of the vehicle and applying a fresh coat of Primer ...

In all ... A VERY productive weekend on the ole Car !!!

Sorry for the shitty phone pics. Forgot to pack the Digi-Cam ...

Now with the surface rust all gone and a fresh coat of "this is gonna show EVERY imperfection on the vehicle" primer applied, we can now focus on what actually needs to be repaired and/or replaced. Basically now the body work begins !!!

Bout the only MAJOR wwork that needs to be done is "waist down" so to speak. Rock pannels, lower fenders, ect ...

Top half of the car is in great shape !!! Thank God !!!

I'm on call this comming up weekend and it's mother's day / the Wife's Birthday the next weekend. So it will be 3 weekends before I can get the Car back into the Body Shop. But I do have some other things That I can do to the inside of the vehicle until then ...

So bear with me guys !!! I'm working on it !!!

If I get some time this week while I'm "on Call" at work, I may try my had at some trim rings ...

Need to make some for may 5.25" drivers and my 10" drivers.

... And I'm debating if I should build a center console to hold my Kenwood DNX9980HD or integrate it into the dash ???

Would in dash make it feel roomier compared to possibly losing cabin space due to the new console?

I don't remember what the inside looks like.

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
