CaptainzPlanetz Posted May 22, 2013 Report Share Posted May 22, 2013 @deathcards They are basically using the same CPU as the PS4, though clockspeeds weren't released yet, the GPU reports so far indicate that the PS4 is a little ahead in terms of raw power, both Xbox One and PS4 have 8gb of ram, Xbox has 8gb of DDR3 and PS4 has 8gb of GDDR5, the xbox's ram has lower latency, but the PS4's has much higher bandwith, they both have Bluray drives, the PS4's is a 6x bluray, XboxOne hasn't specified, PS4 uses approx. 1gig of ram for OS, leaving 7 for everything else, Xbox uses approx 3gig for its 3OS's leaving 5 for everything else ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ Specs mean next to little in real world testing. Where did you find that info btw? And honestly, if PSN substantially improves, I may buy a ps4 also... but I don't see that happening. I guess only time will tell. From the sounds of it, the Xbox may be for me because I like the "one box handles everything" approach. On the other hand, if Microsoft hasn't figured out a way to improve the reliability of the hardware then I'm going to have to jump ship, because I have had 3 Xbox slims have disk drive failures in the last couple years, and it really gets frustrating when it happens a month out of warranty.
