12volt_Trini Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 the phase switch is used to eliminate speaker to speaker cancellation....i retract my previous statement being tht one has to be set to 180 and one to 0...you usually change it around until the bass sounds the best....sry for the misinformation.... STEvil Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 reverse wiring isnt wrong, it just doesnt help all the time and shouldnt be done unless you know what you're doing. In this case the shop at least did them all reverse, which kept anything from being damaged.. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
