CommonSyns
How far can the crossover be from the speakers? Lets say I wanted to put speakers in the back then the tweeters in the front...Lets imagine that its a Wrangler, I found a bracket that holds the tweeters where I want them but its in the front near the kick panel, and the regular speaker is in the top of the roll bar. I had someone once tell me that the crossover cant be to far away from either the speaker or the tweeter, just trying to figure out if its true or not before I purchase something wrong and wont be able or have a need for it. mothra
it's really not going to make that big of a difference atleast nothing you can hear. your signal travels fast enough that you can't hear the delay of .00000000001 second. if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know
CommonSyns
Ah okay, That's good to hear. My tweeter will be far away from my mids and my crossover will be behind the dash. BobbyG2
If you're concerned about it, an easy feel-good solution would be to cut your longest run of wire first, than cut what would be the shorter wire the same length. Fold it up and zip tie it out of sight. It wont make any audible difference, but you'll at least not feel worried about it. *New vehicle and system coming soon.*
Skullz
It's going to sound like crap with the tweeters up front and the mids behind you, just put them both up front and call it a day. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
CommonSyns
I would but 6.5's wont fit in the dash of a Jeep TJ. The sound bar can fit 6.5's but no place to put the tweeters.
