Powering a woofer w/ bridged 4 channel?

Let me start off by saying I am still pretty new to car audio and still figuring a lot out.
I was recently looking at some 4 channel amplifiers to power some components,
And it made me wonder why it would be a bad idea to use a 4 or 2 channel to power a woofer/s?
I am looking for a cost effective solution to replace my stolen memphis mojo.
And a lot of these numbers after bridging dont look too bad.

Looking to power 2 18" dual 4 ohm Juggs for a daily that likes to get loud.
Need to make at least around 3000 rms.

Some random amplifiers I found to try to explain what I am describing..

4 channel (maybe use one for each woofer?)

Bridged 4 ohm 1000 watts MAX x 2 = (each woofer coil sees 500 rms/1000 max)- Is this a good idea?

@ 2 ohms 2100 rms watts x 2 = 1050 rms each woofer
Bridged 4 ohm 2500 rms x 1

I am usually one to only use commonly known brands, and only d class with my woofers.
But it just doesnt seem to make sense as to why I would opt for a more expensive d class?
Open to other suggestions. Currently I am on one d1200 and a mechman 320A

nah dude, it can be done, but just run a mono block, less heat, amp draw, voltage drop. just a better investment.

and those lanzar amps are just like, boss, pyle and other no name woofer cooker amps. they don't do any where close to rated, get a name brand mono block for true power.

I did that once but you never know the real RMS that each channel is giving so one sub could be getting more power than the other considering its a 4 channel I'm guessing it has 2 different knobs for settings for gains and frequency so unless you have a DD-1 I wouldn't recommend it.

Look at the hifonics series of amps.. its What a lot of people run as a budget amp.. pretty good for the price..

Most modern multi channel amps aren't capable of running subs for sustained periods of time without going nuke and shutting down from overheating, just get a mono amp to power those subs with and you'll be better off.

You can runs subs off a bridged 4 channel no problem. But you need to take care to not go below the rated ohm load - usually 4 ohms when bridged. Class AB amps(what are usually used for mids/highs) do NOT like being ran below rated

I would reevaluate the equipment you are using though. It's a turd lol

Stop trying to reinvent the wheel. If your setup was good and you liked it replace the amp with another of the same. Trying to be "different" only causes more double than it's worth.

I would either run a Class A/B 2 channel mono or a Class D mono block amplifier ...

Yea I was thinking that too.. Probably not a good idea to run big power through anything multiboard
