Never found it appealing in any way. I was playing GTA by age 9, so I was beyond the pokemon phase already, and there was no going back. same goes for yu-gi-oh (sp?) and digimon and all those types of games. CaptainzPlanetz Posted September 9, 2013 Report Share Posted September 9, 2013 Those pokemon must make the some of the biggest profit margins of any game series The story plays out pretty much the same everygame *Start game pick pokemon, rival screws you by picking the one your weak against *Do 8 gyms *Scuffle with Team Rocket/other badguy along way *Face Elite 4 Go to next game, the only thing different really is the pokemon, which nowadays they just see a sword and put eyes on it and it's a pokemon. They probably make sooo much money on each game compared to the dev cost's They say it's pocket monsters so that's why they wanna keep it on handheld's, but I think they are afraid they wouldn't be able to handle a fully realized 3d open world pokemon game(no I am not talking about the "technically 3d" X/Y) I am talking a open world Monster Hunter Style Pokemon, where you would be able to go all over the world and collect pokemon, doing gyms like normal, but also have an online mode where you would run by some random other person from a different part of the world and be able to battle right there on the spot. That would be my dream for pokemon. But I disagree with down, he's the creator and to constantly be told by a million people what to do would be annoying. We know it's true in audio, so why is it different for game creators? If these people have such awesome ideas, why aren't they creating games? And the removal of the killability with the noob tube annoys me. Faggots who camp in a corner and quickscope hate noob tubers because it kills them easily but quickscoping, camping, portable radars, and no skill shotgun kills are ok.
