Steve Yzerman will be on the ice as well as Shanahan, McCarty, and I heard Osgood will be there too. Lucky!!!! a rare good thing about being from detroit, you get to be so close to guy like yzerman, datsyuk, (briefly)modano, and osgood. If only I liked any of the kings players I would be happy for playing at toyota sports center where they practice, but I could care less about them. I was really into hockey back when they played, not so much anymore. I remember when they won the Stanley cup in 1997 against the Flyers I got to go see the cup right up close at a showing. I think I have some polaroid pictures of it somewhere lol. I was never big on many sports as a kid, but I was a little wayne gretzky at age 5 when I started roller, then went to ice at 8 and a few years later started on the LA Jr Kings AAA teams. I had a mean wrist shot, but when I moved to PV it was too far, and it was already too expensive to keep playing as a growing boy. My moms old boyfriend worked as an NHL linesman for a while and he would take us down into the kings tunnel during games and I saw the cup pretty close once.
