You got nothing holding that woofer up. what do you mean you have the help of the basket? It would be easier to mount them inverted because you can grab them by the basket on the outside. Unless I'm not catching your drift You would think it's easier but hell no it isn't. You have to make sure it's aligned correctly so the surround doesn't rub on the inside. And when you mount normal you basically just smash it against the baffle until you get some screws in because they have that little recessed part of the basket that kind of keeps it in place.
