gckless Posted October 2, 2014 Author Report Posted October 2, 2014 C pillar with 2 24s!!! Can you even fit a second? What is the box volume recommended per? 11-12cuft? I might be able to just barely physically fit two on the baffle, but I'm not going to. Not enough airspace, not enough power now, and I don't want to put any more power in here. Yeah they recommend 10-12 per. Not sure if it's simply the smallish box I have, placement, or a combination. You'll get used to that coil smell. Every single tantric build I've sat in had a very particular smell. So I've heard now. I don't like it, simply because I don't know the difference between "normal" smell and when I'm pushing it too hard. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand. I don't like it, simply because I don't know the difference between "normal" smell and when I'm pushing it too hard. it's pretty apparent actually. It's a different smell entirely when shit gets bad. You have your average coil smell then your hot as fuck coil smell. Low voltage above tuning gets you at a normal smell, nothing really to worry about. Low voltage and below tuning, severely below tuning, is when the other smell comes out to play. On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole.

RossGo Posted October 3, 2014 Report Posted October 3, 2014 How did you set gains? Yes I have a lot of stereo weight. I build for Smiles Per Gallon not Miles Per Gallon LOLZ My build - 1996 4Runner with 2 18s - 149+ in a sealed box (with radiators)
gckless Posted October 3, 2014 Author Report Posted October 3, 2014 How did you set gains? On battery voltage, with a -3dB, to just before clipping with an oscope. I think clipping would absolutely be a non-issue, but maybe not? "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now.
