not unless you wanna pay for his tinted window ticket. I will help him do anything LEGAL he wants to do but he will need a job first so he can pay for his own if he decides to roll the dice.....and gets caught with it. I would prefer my 17yr old son didn't start getting tickets though.

I dont have my windshield tinted but have wanted to. Is that a fix it ticket or a large monetary sum? I hear just a fix it here in Cali, in which case id just get it signed and pay the processing fee. But, I also hear, its a fine, which i dont really wanna pay something like a few hundred dollars each time lol.

actually, i have this new shit on the Tahoe (windshield)....pulled off the 30% because it was just too dark and ASKING for it LOL. But anyhow, i had him take it off and put some new 70% on it that is supposed to block out as much UV as the 30% did. Some new shit he had. So basically, i still get the feel of a darker windshield, yet it is mellow on the eyes and not attracting as much attention. It's still illegal, but if they stopped me and looked at it, they wouldn't be able to tell it was tinted because it looks stock. Yet it really helps!

I like the fact that your boy probably has a better chance to build that truck himself than most members on here.lol He saw daddy build some awesome shit so he is past the "do I really want to try that" phase most of us went through the first time we went all out...

Plastidip is some good stuff! Been using it to kill some of the chrome on my truck.

Yeah I agree there's enough factory chrome that when you plasti dip it, it gives it a two tone black look. Looks really sick! Great work, can't wait to see what else goes in this thing!
