Anyway I got the headliner in and final touchups done to my car and its done. This summer I will probably replace my rear speakers which are a pair of RF 5.25'' that have held up so far but im gonna hook up the new ones to the MB Quart. Ive been keeping myself busy helping friends and friends of friends install radios, speakers, subs, and what not in their cars but I still had that urge to do something else to my car. I thought about making another go at door pods but didnt like the idea of mismatching PA speakers and midbass. The other day I happened to look at my voltmeter and realized i could do something with it to make it look a lot better. Before it was just sitting in my cigarette tray since i dont smoke and looked kinda ghetto. BigManAC Posted June 20, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 20, 2014 I couldnt use fiberglass because of the plastic and i tried mdf but .5" was too thick and didnt allow enough space. Soooo i went with the great stuff option. Filled the whole tray up and let it set up. Once set up I cut out the rectangle for the meter and access hole. Then filled in gaps with some body filler. I have some paint that i had matched to my interior panels that is perfect.
