BigManAC
I went Saturday to work on the doors but we had a freak tornado warning. Wind and rain was going crazy!! Needless to say I didn't get anything done. I did however get my front amp relocated to the rear seat and I will be running the wires today. As soon as the weather gets better those doors will be done! I'm tired if not having door panels. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
BigManAC
Got some time today for me to work on the door pods with the help of my friends. Worked in them for about an hour and my friend had the idea of just getting some panels at a junk yard. We went and got them for $30. The plan is now to just mid them a bit to fit the crescendo 6.5 and tweeters and put the 8's in my house. Work will begin and probably finish tomorrow. Pics to come. Oh and another thing coming up is I will finally be getting a H/O alt! I should have to money soon so I will be ordering one from Singer soon. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
BigManAC
Finally got the doors done today. The CZ 6.5" are in the front and sound great. I will eventually put a set of 5.25" sets in the rear but that will come later. Emailed Singer Alts the other day and just waiting to hear back from him but no rush. What's left? - In spring I will build a new box for my sub and seal it in the trunk. I already have the design in Torres and SketchUp. - Put sound deadener on all of my doors - H/O alt - make it look presentable for shows - go to shows Those SQ 8's will be put in my living room and I and making mini towers with a 5" speaker and a tweeter as well as the sub in each one. Pics coming tomorrow. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
BigManAC
Here is what the doors look like. They look completely stock so nothing much to look at but they sound loud. Little pic of the tweeter. I tired to get one of the speaker but you couldnt see it well. Here is where I relocated the amp to. Hid all of the wires so all you see is very little of them. I did a design of my living room towers im gonna make in SketchUp. They will have a SQ 8'' in the bottom tuned to 45Hz, a 5.25'' speaker in the top as well as a tweeter. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw

BigManAC
I am starting a little bit more work on my car soon since it's greeting nicer outside again. I ordered a XS D3400 for my car. Just want to say that if you need anything sky high related I highly reccomend skyhighcaraudiocable ebays page. They have great service and I have never had a problem with them. I ordered the battery and I got a message saying that it was out if stock (he took it down a few days before I ordered it and doesn't know why I was able to by it) and it would be a while before I would get the battery but he would refund me my money and was very nice and courteous about the whole ordeal. Best customer service ever. Anyway... Battery will be in in a couple of weeks and I am ordering new tweeters bc one of mine blew, idk how bit it did lol. And once it gets warm enough and there is no rain, I will finally be sealing off the trunk. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
BigManAC
I finally got around to using those SQ 8's I had bought a while ago and made some towers for my downstairs. I planned on taking pictures throughout but time got away from me and before I knew it both towers were built. Put some body filler to smooth the edges out and then did a coat of fiberglass resin to make it nice and smooth as well as to make sure the paint didnt all soak into the wood. After all of that dried I did three layers of semi-gloss black paint. Then it was time to wire them up. The towers are made up of a SQ 8" in the bottom box then in a separate box there is a 4'' mid, 2" tweeter, and a 1" tweeter. Here is a pic of it installed in my living room. I do plan on making screens to go over the front which I will have done by the end of the week. On another note I got my new Crescendo RTS-1 tweeters in today and they look and sound awesome! 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw

I need to pick one up for myself then...
