Steve Barber
We went with the 1600 @ 2ohms so we could run the amp at a low setting and have extra if we ever needed it. Should be good at around 650 each
RooTxBeeR
Yeah very understandable. Also if you didn't know. Have a 1k watt amp, running at 1k watts is not as great as a 2k watt putting out 1k. The 2k when lowered down to put the same power out, stresses less and is less power hungry in comparison. So you are helping yourself out doing it that way. In the end too, run 4 of them on that amp at 1 ohm, would do wonders lmao. RooTxBeeR
I have another question now that I was thinking about it. Is the trunk sealed off? and, how is the box held down, or is it even? I would just be scared to attach the port the rear deck, and not attach the box to anything, and risk the box shifting and breaking the areo port if you turned hard enough. stroupe79
this is similar to a design my friend ran back in the day, he had 4 10s in 2 isobaric pairs at each end then center ported through the deck lid...it was super clean but was designed more for show/sq so it wasn't very loud....it was all plexi and etched with a sandblaster... love these type of builds! http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
