ZombieFatMan Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 I have a BRZ2400.1D an its a BEAST but it is very demanding on electrical . if you are willing to pay $280 for each sub, you could get Fi, AA, Sundown etc. for about the same price. I plan on running zero gauge, doing big 3, running 2 batteries, and more than likely upgrading the alt so i'm not worried about power. I like alpines so I was set on those and haven't really taken the time to look into other brands. i'll do some more research Alpines are good but you will be paying for a name , giving them $300 for a $150 sub its like the MTX 9500, they want $500 on sale . the subs are good and hit hard but for $100-$200 less could have got subs that put them to shame . i made this mistake and dont want to see someone else do the same. Yeah I got ya, but when it comes to car stuff I like paying for the name cause I know it's quality. I'll do a litte more research. I'm thinking maybe some sundowns As I lay rubber down the street, I pray for traction I can keep, but if I spin and begin to slide, please dear God protect my ride.

I'm thinking maybe some sundowns Yeah, but with DC, Fi, Sundown, AA, etc., you are going to get beyond name-brand quality. Stick your neck out there/here a 'lil bit & learn ... I did, & I am much better off for it. I rock the Fi's, & I do not think I would ever go anywhere else ... but certainly NOT to a box store-brand. HowLowCanYouGo Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 Look into 2 Sundown SA-12s on a RF Prime R1200-1D. SAs are 200 each RF amp is 400 So basically $800 for all. What you are looking into is going to cost you $845 I'd say go with the SAs and the RF amp, It's better IMO and you would have an extra $50 left over! Nothing for now... Did you get that scar tissue when you got your vagina installed? I'd grab Adam's ass and look him in the eyes for a demo of nates truck.
TaylorFade Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 Amp is lovely. I love mine. But sub is ehhhh. Get something better. You have that backwards. For the same price you could do 2x hdc3 on a sq2200 2x sa on a sq2200 Have you thought about a single 15 You could do a zv3 or xl on 2200 And if you can push the budget ip 100 to mid 9's Depending on amp you'll even be looking at an lvl5 15 Don't rule out 10's either dual or triple, in the higher end underground brands stuff it will leave most mainstream for dead This. All day.

Why would you recommend the r series amp at 400 When the same size amp through sq is 260 For 400 you'll get the 2200
