Seems like 98%+ of people out there have no need to strap amps, also seems like other than a couple minute wiring reasons people would only strap because they simply *wanted* to. (minus having 2 amps, 1 coil) Its a simplicity of tuning 1 amp vs 2 amps also. It's more than gain. Could you take a pair of identical amps and test one by itself and then the pair strapped and see what the power output is. In theory it should double given the same battery voltage. LOL - seriously. I think you might be confused, not me. Just because you showed 2 strapped amplifiers a 2 ohm load does not mean it is still a 2 ohm load (and therefore doing the SAME power, with less current).
