Kevin M
I use bolts, washers, lockwashers, and nuts. Granted I have an IB setup but if I do a wall in another vehicle I would like to have a port big enough to crawl in and do the same thing. lol Had a bad time with the t-nuts in my last wall. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle

CleanSierra
Wicks, you're a lucky man. Every time I look locally for threaded inserts I have NO luck. I've looked and looked, even at a place that specializes in specialty stuff. That have Heli coils, but no threaded inserts. Online is the only place I've seen them. OP, T nuts suck. I spun just ONE on a box of mine. It only took that ONE to ruin my day. I couldn't get my sub or, ended up grinding the head off, twisting the sub, and throwing the motor on the sub out of alignment. It was only a $100 sub, and likely wouldn't have happened if I hadn't lost my temper, but nonetheless, it happened. I'll never use T nuts for most builds again. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
DubNDodge
From personal experience. T nuts do suck. Was putting in a screw, missed the hole a bit and pushed the damn thing right out. (after it was set in) Had to rip the sub back out and put it back in. When taking the sub out, another fucking one backed its way out so then it was even more a PITA to get everything situated. Took an hour to put the sub in needless to say. Yep, online is the only place I get mine. eBay and/or McMaster Carr who has TONS of great HW goodies! If I'm looking around for something specific, i'll roam around McMaster Carr and end up finding all kinds of great things I didn't think about!
