Love this game. It'll always hold a special place in my heart. I've played for the last 7 years. Since I was 11. The new content isn't nearly as good or rewarding.

There wasn't a more fun time than getting with your 300+ man guild and scheduling 40 man raids that took 20+ hours played time to clear. With 20 minute long boss fights, that shit was the bomb yo.

I play off n on, nowadays. Whenever I play again I'll add you.

^ Hit the nail on the head. I am more in to the PVP though, After the came out with wrath PVP took a dump it was just a mashing button contest. When wrath came out i played 2v2 mage/rogue and that was when mages could one shot people with POM/PYRO. Went from 1500 MMR to 2.3k MMR in one night.

I was just gonna say, I've played off and on for almost five years. it will always be the bomb. I thought wrath was great. Cata; not so much.

It's just nostalgic looking back in the day when it would take FOREVER to level, now it's a ducking cakewalk. Same goes for raiding end content.

I like both aspects equally. I like the flexibility of PVP, not much of a schedule to follow. But once you get into hardcore raiding, most of the times you have schedules. At least back in the day before it was a cakewalk. You couldn't just PuG raids.

Karazhan and Sunwell were the shit, btw. \m/

Man I remember spending months grinding to level 60. I was a Pally. Had to do the long ass quest for my mount, and I'd think I had all the gold for it until I went and learned all my spells and blew all my gold. Finally getting my mount, man I almost pissed myself with excitement and joy. Those were the funnest times.

Now it's just like "oh, level 40. I have like 400 gold and this mount costs probably 90g total. Yay.."

Not in todays game. They catered to the casuals pretty hard. Made it so you dont have to sit down for so long to get anything done.
