Could i run this at .5 with a good electrical? 300+ amp alt, batts, etc

In Steve´s last amptest vid, he stated that he poped the fuses @ 0.5 on the DC 1.2 K.

Remember that the Dyno tests at a reactive load, not nominal.

Warranty Disclaimer- Your 1 year Manufactures Warranty is VOID if you run any DC Monoblock amp under 1 ohm.

If you want to assume the risk that comes with running under 1 ohm, make sure you have a very strong electrical system in place to support the amplifier. I personally have had no issues wiring any of my amps to .5 nominal, but I also have the electrical systems to back up doing so.

i had a dc 9k at .5 on a single d3100 on music for 30 seconds..

If you are willing to assume the risk that comes with voiding your warranty, it can be done. Just have to be willing to accept that if the amp smokes for any reason, the repair bill will be on you no matter what.
