I see you ended up going with the pvc method, just remember to test fit pvc first, take it down and run your wire in it, then put it back up. It will make things a lot easier on ya Just using the PVC to run into the bed, only used a 2" piece so I have plenty of clearance to run the wire, just needed to protect the wire from the bare metal cut through the bed.
