smullen
What does everyone use to cover their ""Toolmaker"" Battery Terminals???Like these:I ordered a pair for the front and rear batts..Once I started looking more at them, I'd really like something to cover'em up... So that nothing can get shorted against them... Not sure if anyone here really uses them... I posted this at another forum and didn't really get any useful replies... Just people saying they didn't cover them... No offense to those posters, bu I'd like to see what folks that "have" covered them did... ChevyBoy95
if they are secure, nothing should short out, but i guess you could put the wires in and shoot it with a few layers of plasidip, of course taping off the battery so it doesnt get everywhere. I wasn't so much thinking about them being loose as I was something accidentally falling across them... When you have the two of them on the same batt, there is only a few inches between them... I'll figure something out... NRA - Patron Lifetime Member '"the right of the people to keep andand bear arms shall not be infringed"

Chris Hammer
I don't have them but tape off the holes for wire and the part that clamps against the battery post or screws into your xs power battery. Shoot it with plastidip 4-5 nice even light coats. Will come out pretty clean and stop stuff from arcing them like you suggest. SnowDrifter
You could also get some large heat shrink. Throw a couple layers on it, cut out the holes. Make it color coded too ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
