soundstream15 Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 i currently have my system out of my trunk, rebuilding a box at the moment, and my spare tiere well had 2" of water in it. there are 3 plugs so went under the car and and pushed up on the 2 they where fine, then on the 1 it came right thru, so anyway, fixed all that. would i be able to use peel n seal for the wheel well? i would never use it on my trunk lid but figured wheel well wouldnt be a bad idea..
will77530 Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 peel and seal is not for cars it doesnt work very well, sac up and buy real deadnor,
OrionStang Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Is your wheel well a roof? P&S is a roofing material, not a deadener. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Jessica Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 I've used P&S. When it come to cars it's a waste of time. Just buy a bucket of roofing tar and slather it on, same thing. I had three layers of p&s on my door, it made a slight difference. Stripped it all off, layed one layer of second skin damplifier (regular) and got as good if not better results. Figuring the cost of each per sqft the SS was the same cost. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. bassman619 Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Well it depends on what you're trying to achieve. Are you trying to sound deaden or you just want to block water and heat? If you're trying to deaden theres a experiment that the second skin rep did in the second skin section of this forum that shows p&s is no good for that. If you want to block water and heat then it may be able to do that..but then again you could also use silicone sealer or great stuff to do that. I would say just save up n get some good deadener like second skin. Thing is second skin works with minimal mess and good results You need trunk space to get groceries and shit...bitches love groceries
Swordlordboy1234 Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 nate.. just use AT and call it a day. You already have AT deadener. Dont make a peel and seal thread. I should blow up your phone on why not to use P&S My old YouTube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/SwordLords1234?feature=mhee My old build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161872-96-accord-b2-sundown-sky-high-dc-power-re-re-build-for-heatwave/page-37 My New Build - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/207041-2016-mazda-6-sql-build/ 2016 Mazda 6 Touring JL Fix 86 - OEM signal correction B2 prototype DSP 6to8 B2 Ref63 - 3 way active set 2 B2 Class H quattro's 1 B2 Zero.5R @.5 2 B2 HNv3 12 d2 B2 SLIP40 - Lithium in the trunk Northstar Group 35 under the hood 100ft 2/0 welding cable 30ft 4ga welding cable 20ft 8ga welding cable All stinger OFC speaker wire Soundrive custom RCA's Tons of attention to detail....
