T1sneedmorepowa Posted September 18, 2013 Report Posted September 18, 2013 I have a kinetic hc 200 in place of my oem battery in a pathfinder. Also have a shitty voodo cap.Did not set it up as " the big 3". I'm running spr-60c alpine component 2-way speaker for the front and spr-60 coaxial 2 ways in the back. Powered by a alpine Mrx-f65 4 channel amp. For lows I have two t1s and a t1000bd1-cp Gains are down. When dub step is playing volts drop from 14 to 9 volts. Highs will cut out then lows(lows are powered first). A simple power on and off on the head unit fixes My first step is to go about eliminating the cap and see if that my problem

Emmet Posted September 18, 2013 Report Posted September 18, 2013 How someone can watch voltage drop to 9 volts and think it's not so bad is beyond me... i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah.. You want this to happen to you? Give decent handshakes people. I was gifted with an innate ability to distribute wholesale ass beatings in a timely and orderly fashion.

soundstream15 Posted September 18, 2013 Report Posted September 18, 2013 Pitch the caps, they don't do you any good. It's just for looks. Big 3 and second battery.
Karkov Posted September 18, 2013 Report Posted September 18, 2013 As stated above. #1 don't play it @ 9 volts ever again. 12's is fine, under that be careful IMO (debatable) #2 Big 3 under hood, properly sized wire, properly connected grounds (and everything else for that matter), take out cap, *probably* add a second battery in the rear and yes, that is all step 2 do all that and report back with what your volts do then please 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. Swordlordboy1234 Posted September 18, 2013 Report Posted September 18, 2013 12v is hardly acceptable. Should be closer to 13 full tilt. I know some people who wouldn't play below 14v full tilt! 9v is like bathing in gasoline and then going to your job as a fire fighter with no gear on.
