Help me pick a "new" car!

i'd like to get a new car because mine is rusting out like hell.

been looking at the late 90's early 00's regal gs's, grand prix GTPs in that same era, the AMC built jeeps, or the 90's 4runners.

i like the regal/gtp's because of the powerful supercharged 3800 and they look like sleepers, especially the regal. but the suv's will likely be more reliable (few known problems with 3800's in general if not taken care of...) plus i can fit more audio crap in it. but they get worse gas mileage.

i can find regal/gtp's for like 4 grand or so, depending on condition/miles etc. same with the jeep and 4runner.

any ideas guys? im terrible at making decisions.

I just payed $6k for a '95(impala ss) just get a car you want and think you will have fun with.

Definitly the gtp my dad had one and with a few mods they get moving pretty damn good

That's forced induction gas cars in general though. Buick Rainer or Trailblazer with a 5.3 is what I say. Decent mileage with a tuner, intake, exhaust, and headers. Rainer's are usually AWD, and fully loaded, 5.3 is a LSx engine so TON of mods and plenty of room for alts, fairly good payload ratings.

Hey bro the gtp is a fast lil car. It makes dam near 300hp at the wheels at full boost . I've had the two door and 4 door . Good cars too. And I've ran 87octane in them with no issues just loose a lol throttle response is all. Still fast tho

just a commuter to work/school and such with good pick up/passing power. i'd like to fit a pair of 12's or 18's that can take 2k, depending on the car of course. gas mileage is something i'd like to have too. thats the good thing about the cars with 3800 motors in them is they're all that. i get like 20mpg in mine and i dont even really drive it that nicely. those 4 runners and jeeps get like 15.

edit 2: i know about the 4t65e tranny issues in the 3800's, if anybody is wondering. mine is dying slightly LOL but its holding up better after i put in a shift kit.
