I noticed that my 3.5k drew 200A playing a 40 hz note, and 250 when playing a 50 hz note. Is this difference in amp draw due to requiring more power to play a higher note, or is this box related?

I wish I had the proper tools to measure things like impedance. So basically, when you play frequencies near tuning, the amp draw is the lowest since the port is doing most of the work and not the sub?

Just the only thing changing is the boxes tuned frequency. I'm thinking that it's because more power is needed to generate the more oscillations in the same length of time, but if this were true, why does it take so little power to generate tones of much higher frequency?
