Ive just purchase 2 JBL GTO1202D
it will be getting about 300wrms each
what setup would be clean and loud?
ive been thinking of sub facing cabin..trunk seal off...in a ported box

Is it a good idea? and i dont know how to design the box

What kind of sound are you looking for? In detail please. What music do you list to? What is your max dimensions?

And what amp do you have, what vehicle is it going in?

some trunk cars sound better firing back. others sound better sealed off firing forward.

mine sounds better port/sub firing back. i'd get a dual prefab box from bestbuy or something, just to get it in the trunk and play around with it and see where it sounds best, then build a custom box to what these guys suggest for your sound, then put it where it sounded best to you. might not be the best way but it's just an idea.

i listen to all kind of music..rap hiphop rnd dubstep trap..anything with big bass (Y)
amp is a Pioneer GM-X944 (rated at 250wrms x 2 @4ohm but does more. using o-scope to prevent clipping)
meade said something about cancellation..thats i was thinking of sealing off trunk setup

nice subs! i would do subs and port back, maybe about 3.8 c/f and 3 4" full lenght aeros if you can fit them :)

It's likely better to do a port in the middle rather than on the side in your situation:

Just don't push the box further forward, I wouldn't recommend but you consider at some point cutting the metal.

you planning on sealing everything from the back? if that´s not the case, i would use that box facing back , should get louder
