LSN2meBoom916
w00t CIRCLE GUIDE FTW! Test Cuts Mock Up For Bottom Baffle Thankyoujebus! There may be a gawd after all. Nice yob there buddy. round over the port and bondo it super smooth and repaint and it will look much nicer, it looks good bro, your builds have come along way.Agreed.Also-When taping off for paint....I think you could stop with the tape after a few inches.....unless you paint like some kind of palsey-havin wildman, doin "The Macarena"....you shouldn't have more than a few inches of "over spray" to tape off........or YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WAAAAY WRONG. Glad you got some good circles now tho, looks much better and I'm sure you're customer will appreciate it. Sidenote-you may want to TIE those interior bracing dowels together somehow, be it by screwing them together, wrapping them in Fglass and resining them up, putting foam inbetween them, or just wrapping them w/ some metal wire and tie it tight....cuz if they're close enough to touch each other when them subs get to hammerin it might cause some unwanted "chatter" and sound bad. dwright27
round over the port and bondo it super smooth and repaint and it will look much nicer, it looks good bro, your builds have come along way. wel, i planned to round over the port, but it seems ive put a screw to close to the edge of the port to where the half inch round over catches it when i go over it and i really didnt like the way the roundover looked on the port, so i body gilled it/wood filled it then sanded back smooth i do plan on rounding over the cut outs for the speakers though. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. Forevrbumpn
man dont let some screws scare you!!!! I round over my screws all the time, its a fun spark show. (and the router bit takes it like a champ, over and over) but if your scared to do that, just take the screws out, and then use filler for the holes the glue is what holds the box together after it dries, not the screws/nails The box is only as good as the glue used I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Forevrbumpn
$39.99 at Lowes Man I have that same circle cutter from Sears, the craftsman version (same exact unit) for like $24.99 goes from 10"- 54" right? awesome guide yeah, also man, good job on the box if I had some fiberglass, and resin, I would resin together that center point where all the wood rods come together that would be bad assl also, no need for resining the 45s, just get some mdf, and 45 the edges, and your golden nice job man I have a ritual called "terminator".
