775Tundra
I had a lvl 4 on a 1.2k and I thought it was a perfect match. If your wiring it at .7 it should be better IMHO. I also used a 1.2k on three 10's at .67 without a problem Quote 2003 Tahoe dc 7.5k dc level 5 15's (3) MMats 341's xs power batts lots of sky high cable dual alts(came off the sky-high gmc and don't know who made them) ipad in center console vu-din in center console all being ripped out and being sold
ChevyBoy95
Yes it could cause its not constantly seeing .7 load you will most likely rise above 1ohm when playing. Why not get the 2k? or do you already have the 1.2k? bad info. when playing music, since it is dynamic, the ohm load is never the same, so you cant bank on saying, "I will have box rise so ill be good" because that only works with burps, which is a constant tone. OP as far as the amplifier is concerned, it can handle .7 all day long as long as you have sufficient electrical for about 1800w. kirill007
Cause of the power that you are wanting to run. the stock lvl4 is a 1400rms woofer you are waning to ad XL parts so that would bump up the rms on that woofer. The stock lvl 3 is a 900rms and a 1800 peak which falls right into the power that you are wanting to use. Why would he not go with a lvl4 instead of lvl 3? I would say with the the 4 if you can afford it. Quote Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
Stephen Raab
Thanks for all of the info guys.... I'm just starting to get into the more serious side of audio. Things like box rise sub ohm tuning, and resonant frequencies of vehicles are all very new to me I love reading everyone's posts as I learn so much
