I'll try to find them, but guy by the name of DrewJones on here I believe tried a pair out in his PT Cruiser and hit low 50s, but was on over RMS power And on a side note, that's an '03 Cavalier man! Hotdog Posted November 16, 2013 Report Share Posted November 16, 2013 As far as the hfx12d4 sub goes. Well they are actually a pretty decent subwoofer. I went that route and picked up two of them for my daughters car. They are in a sealed box on a Rockford Fosgate 700s and they have been in the car for two years now and handling the Rockford amp just fine. The rest of the set up is a Rockford Fosgate 500x on rockford Fosgate fanatic series 6x9 in the rear deck and 6.5" in the doors. Using a Alpine CDA-9885 for the head unit. This is a nice little set up for her that has performed well.
