goldeneye4564
You dont need 2 fuses. Just one close to your front battery. If you are running a rear battery as well then yes I would put one close to the rear battery running to your amp as well. I agree with this. I just don't run them from the back bank because I believe in my electrical... And it has been like that for about half a year now... probably longer. I RREEALLY ANGRY WIT U PHOTOBUCKET. Chameleon
Yes I would put fuse in before amp. Your amp should call for a certain amperage for this fuse, in the manual. I have a 5K massive audio it call for at least two hundred fifty amp fuse

Kyblack76
Only reason we fuse is because psyclone rules dictate for competing. If that wasn't the case, we would not fuse any of the 18 hot runs and not give a single fuck. zoeboi954
yea i'm not going to lie. i got 5 amps and 3 batteries and not a single fuse for them. over several years like this. idky but in my personal feelings, i felt like it limits power.. and in my head i kept saying i'm never going to touch positive and negative, so i dont need it...... that just me. dont do what i do 4 Fi Q 12s In A Prius on 4 Crescendo BC2000D?! Ryan Lynch
A lot of amps that don't have fuses, like Rockford's have short circuit protection built-in.. Thus, no fuse needed. You still need one at your battery though to protect the wire run. Car Audio Inc | Design, Fabrication & Installation
corey0928
You don't protect the device with a fuse, you protect the wire, if you properly size the wire to the amp.
