alaskanzx5
Sounds like the guy went to the shop and got it fixed. What shop was it? There are very few good installers in Alaska and even fewer that know how to correctly do gains and what not. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. bcbrassard
OK, enough Blah Blah Blah...For the few people that follow my build progress. I got the box together today, 60+ degress out today, nice day to play out side. Box turned out ok. Here are some pics. Nothing special, a bit on the small side but it the max i can get into the opening of my trunk. Shout out to JOE X for box design. That guys the shit. And these bad boys are going in it. I ordered a router circle plunge guide off amazon today for cutting sub & terminal holes in it. Until then i am going to use bondo to fill in all the counter sunk screw holes and anywhere else that needs to be touched up before routering a 3/8 radius around all exterior edges. Prime, sand & paint. not sure on the color yet. Blackish, gun metal grey....?

alaskanzx5
Yeah never heard of them either. great woodworking by the way. I would paint the baffle and carpet the back. Gives the port a smooth surface for the air to flow across and can look clean with work put into it. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. I was going to paint the inside to but said fuck it. Going with a semi gloss or something. Need to make panel to seal it off from trunk too. Ya i guess they made it right, never heard. Not my problem. gave a good deal as is. The one sub was new, not even broke in. I hate selling shit on CL anymore, freakin cracker heads that flake out or dont have enough $ and want the shit for free,

Prime, sand & paint. not sure on the color yet. Blackish, gun metal grey....? Absolutely beautiful, attention-to-detail work, my friend. ... & those SoundQ'd drivers look exciting as Hell. I tell ya, ... we have talked enough on the side about your build, & the help you have gave me on mine, here & there, that I swear if you were not nearly 4,300 miles from me, I would come meet & chill with ya for a day or something - ya certainly know I have not much to do, ... & I friggin' live for roadies. Anyhow, ... I so bad want to hear your "active" front stage sooo bad ... & still pick your brain. Probably bring some money with me, ... 'cause I bet you have got a few cool things lying around for sale that I could say I went to Alaska to buy. :-) But, who knows, ... if I left right now, by the time I got to you, winter might've started again for you!!! Eh, ... you know I bust balls for a living ... & you know you are doing fantastic work, & that - like you - absolutely LOVED that old RF sub on that old 1,000W RMS RF Amp from a "few" years back. That was sweet looking ... Period. I may not be sitting here peering in on this stuff eating popcorn, ... but I sure as Hell am eating UTZ Sour Cream & Onion Potato Chips! Take care, Sir. Talk soon. bcbrassard
Thank you sir! Worked most of the day on the box. Its slow and time consuming using the bondo and hand sanding. I think this will be my last box i build. I dont to much care for it. I love all aspects of car audio but this part. Oh well, i start work next week so i better get it done this week. At least ready to paint, waiting on plunge router circle jig to show up to cut out for subs & terminals. Plus i need to buy terminals and figure out where to put them. Hell i cant sell anything, might need it! lol Thanks for looking & commenting.
