Skullz
I don't think it really matters as the rubber prevents the subs and speakers from moving easily so the more you play it the faster they'll warm up to the point everything moves freely again. gr8handogoatness
Every now and then it'll get down to the negative teens and the LCD starts acting funny. I even park in the garage. I usually let it warm up before pounding on it, like up to freezing or so. When its that cold I like to listen to the car though. Once you've had your brakes freeze over while driving you start to think less about music and more about concentrating on driving, either that or you start thinking more about home audio and to "hell with work I'm not going outside". As far as components go, I think moderate levels will be fine, but me, I don't crank it til it has warmed up some.
Beanz
For me it's always less louder when cold and way more louder when it's warmer That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. Karkov
never too cold to listen to music. Windows down is another thing though, but here in MN we have to deal with below zero a lot in winter so if it was too cold to listen to music that would suck so yea, got to listen to music no matter what 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq.
