I bet if I use a plastic bag it will look more impressive LOL No I like moving a shirt or towel. Would closing the pass door and rear window help move more air out the drivers side? Or does it help with the pass side window open? Still learning.... oldsoundguy Posted May 6, 2014 Author Report Share Posted May 6, 2014 So my SMD VM-1 isn't working correctly. Instead of voltage going down when the truck and alt get warm its going up. So it says I am charging at 14.9 when warm. I checked it with my DMM and its only charging at 14.03 I called then yesterday and left a message and got a call back pretty quick. They said that they haven't heard of one doing that before but agreed it was defective. They said they will send me a new one asap and put in the box a return shipping label to send the defective one back. In my book that awesome customer service. I understand that sometimes shit doesn't work and nothing is perfect.
