Thinking Outside the box on sub cooling !!

Ok so other than all the cooling options you can get on subs, anybody ever think about running an ac line or hose from an ac vent something to that effect into the port of an enclosure or even if that would make a difference ? Just curious what peoples opinions are or if it's been tried I was watching one of exo's videos an seeing how he used the fans to cool where all of his amps were it just sparked some curiosity

I think running a line into a box through the port and blowing air into the box would probably have an effect on how the box performs. Whether it would be a negative or positive effect I have no idea lol.

Bazooka made this http://www.bazooka.com/products/mobile/Accessories-C37/CHIL-Accessories-S59/CHIL-PLUG---C-H-I-L--Liquid-Cooling-Woofer-Adapter-P323

It looks like it screws into the pole vent on a woofer. Neat idea but I dont know how effective it would be.

I don't think it would make too much of a difference unless you could either *significantly* lower the ambient temp, or get right up in the gap with your cooling.

Attaching a vent would act like another port. And since a port blows and pulls air hundreds of times per minute I doubt you would actually get any cooling effect.

Isn't there an amp fan setup with a temp gauge from smd? Sure you could find a way to make that work for some inverted subs.
