Found a couple places that can widen the rims and change the offset to get the desired fit and look. So, anybody paid for this service? Was it a good or bad experience? A buddy of mine (not my sisters friends cousins uncles friend) does it on his racing mud truck and never had any issue. As long as they use quality material and mig it 100% I dont see how there's anymore issue with it than any other rim. Edit: I also know its extremely expensive to have done right between the material, rolling the rings, welding and possibly shipping depending on where the shop is closest to you. Might be cheaper to just get new wheels with the negative offset youre looking for. Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. Welds are kinda like wood glue when done right they should be as strong or stronger than the actual material. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
