Dude. This tool made me look and feel like I knew a lil bit what i was doing.

There was 2 times that fucking freaked me out.

When it's up and spinning, shit. Just be safe bro.

Me- flush trim, and 2 round over bits did everything I needed.

I'm to stupid to know what the other bits even do.

TAKE YOUR TIME!

that is the biggest thing with a router.. not only is it alot safer you won't have near the problems with bits burning up

This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP. Put the work in and then maybe get the respect when it has been earned

The jasper jig is calibrated for 1/4 diameter spiral bits. Up down or straight. Using a bit any other size will throw your circle off.

The collet is the female portion of your router and the SHANK is the male portion of your bit.

So your routers PUSSY (collet) can take 2 size DICKS (shanks) 1/4" and 1/2"

1/2" shanks are less prone to chatter and flex but you may not always find one in the size you need. Don't confuse the shank size with diameter of the actual cutting surface. 1/2 works better for cutting through hard wood or making deep cuts, two things you wont be doing in circle cutting.

Hit the library or woodworking forums to brush up on routers. Trust me you need to learn. Use scrap wood as well to see what this thing can do and be careful! A broken bit at 20,000 RPM is not fun

Rolex you sicken me.

I bought that second bit you linked.

I can make 6.5 rings with it right?

Thats what I used. Did rings and cut my sub holes with. Go slow with it and don't cut through it all at once. Also cut in the opposite direction the bit is spinning or it can run away on you. Practicing on scrap wood is a good idea, so you can get the feel of it. I recommend wearing some safety glasses and a dust mask because routers can throw some saw dust.

It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep.
