(the bottom looks like a tight fit) It is a very tight fit. I was really worried about this, I didn't want to have to build the box in the car so I tested it multiple times throughout the build. It comes in and out in one piece through the rear doors, and it tilts up with the floor (as long as you flip the back seats down) so I can access my spare and storage.
