Peak went from 39 to 38 and it got a ton louder on the lows, 155+ at 30, 151+ at 25 and 150+ at 22hz, those are outlaw numbers since we only have usaci down here but for fun I tried 25hz sealed on the dash and it did a 150.5. So ya....sealing made a bigass difference. Those are all 1 ohm scores, I only tried 38hz at .25ohm Used to have a loud truck 2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq 2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s
Amart88
I never tested mine but it moved a hell of a lot more air sealed. Also stonger lows. Noticible difference. and mine ain;t 100% perfect sealed yet either. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
n8ball2013
I don't know because I don't meter or run unsealed walls........it will be louder less space to pressurize because it's all forced forward. Also in your application seal off the rear too. n8ball2013
Helps to keep the front isolated and ensure that no leaks are occurring and hurting your output I'd like to see Kyle test this. It's not a guarantee gain but I've seen it help enough to suggest it THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. It's not a guarantee gain but I've seen it help enough to suggest it i've read that if you open the hatch/trunk while sealed off and the subs get louder, then there are leaks still (not 100% sealed off).
