YukonDCXL
Hey guys... how low can voltage drop before causing damage. What should the lowest drop be?
ToNasty
I don't like dropping under the batteries resting voltage. 12.7-12.8. That's my opinion ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

SICKSPD
well from my understanding is that below 12.8 when your vehicle is running is when your alt can no longer support the electrical drain, so technically speaking that might be a strain on the alt going below that point. maybe I'm mistaken 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft. poorfish88
Keep it 12s or higher. 11s is just too much stress on amps.
YukonDCXL
cool, mine would drop to 12.5 occasionally and wasn't sure if that was too low, so that answered my question. thanks everyone

TRTC360
Fuck that mess. Below 10v is when I get scared. If you're running quality equipment, low voltage shouldn't really be an issue unless you're dropping super super low. Karkov
most amps go into protect or get damaged @ 10 volts so if they EVER see that low it can be devastating damage done as they are made to always play higher than that. 11's is scary shit, 12's are fine IF* you dip into them temporarily but playing continuous in 12's is just not *great* idea. 13's are perfectly fine all day every day, 14's is F*cking ideal and should be your goal.
