gckless Posted March 8, 2014 Author Report Posted March 8, 2014 so what kind ofo music do you listen to that plays that low? Since you're talking musicality and all. It's not that I need to play music at 24Hz. We both know there's not much there. It's that the rest of the response curve is flatter versus tuning higher. This will play fairly flat from 20-60Hz. But some demos at 20Hz aren't exactly a downfall either The new cool thing is to tune super low so that way you can flex everything. Evidently that's where its at. lol I'd actually prefer to flex nothing. My car already hates me :/ interested to see how this turns out. Me too bro, me too. Lol. And oh so disappointing over 40. *sigh Not so much. Here's two 24's in 20 cubes net tuned at 25Hz: I cross at 50-63Hz, so this will do great. I wouldn't even mind a rolloff above 50 if crossed at 63. gckless Posted March 8, 2014 Author Report Posted March 8, 2014 Obviously it will be different in the car, but unusable above 40 is not true. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. Aj11 Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 I'm sorry but to me being in a car that hits 140db at 25hz is way better then a car doing 150db at 50hz. its just personal. i Like the shake love the flex. every time i Demo i put on the track with the most lows even if the highs are louder. I'm sure some/most of you will disagree but some peoples favorite color is blue And others are red. everyone likes different things, plus what's the point of having a sub that can play 24hz if your not gonna do it? jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)

A 140 isn't shit really even at 25 hz. But if you need to play that low to get flex and be able to say oh look how much flex I got my system bangs well then do what you got to THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger.

fox_racin4 Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 No need to tune that low. A proper box tunned to 30 will be fine. You cannot expect a graph to say how itll play in the truck. It could be completly opposite. My truck, box tunned to 32hz.. Was killing 14hz ( when i started with 6 10s) By the time i got the port to where i liked it i was tunned around 38hz... Yet Still able to smash 25hz for fun. Every vehicle will respond differntly 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
