I didn't even have to glue mine Biggest problem with that is its gonna be straight up and down which might not work, you may want something a little more off center Look at my Mustang build I thought I posted pics of how it is done I will get wtih you soon. Just find what thread and pitch it is, drill and tap the sword handle to match and thread it is and screw it on. Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. If u r scared throw a tiny bit of epoxy in the helicoil. .. I'd say drill and tap... but it's really the same thing just insert metal coil instead. .. If u r trying to hold something for a lot of heavy duty lifting no way...
