I did it send me a message

You just need a metal coil that you slide into the holr... I didn't even have to glue mine

Biggest problem with that is its gonna be straight up and down which might not work, you may want something a little more off center

Look at my Mustang build I thought I posted pics of how it is done

I will get wtih you soon.

:ninja:

When your at the top everyone is coming for you, friends, family, haters and even those who don't know you.. my advice.. KILL EM ALL

The shift lever should have a threaded top so you can change the ball on it when it wears out of you want a different one. Just find what thread and pitch it is, drill and tap the sword handle to match and thread it is and screw it on.

Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. New build should be coming soon in a dodge cummins smile.gif

Look up helicoil

http://www.google.com/search?q=helicoil&source=univ&tbm=shop&sa=X&ei=rhQ3U7_4NKfXyAG96YGwDQ&ved=0CCMQsxg&biw=360&bih=592

Find the thread of your shaft :good:

Get the helicoil and good insert

then drill the whole, in the handle pay close attention to the angle on how it's going to sit in all gears

might want to get a 1" wood dowl or a piece of scrap drill a different angle on both ends to see which seems best once it's on..

finalize it on the real handle insert the coil and when u thread it in the normally tighten up real nice

sorry I had to with the first part haha

Why use s helicoil when you can just drill and tap it...besides helicoil suck can't torque them to shit.

I feel ya bill but it's a shifter... it will be enough... my 7 ball is on there plenty. .. If u r scared throw a tiny bit of epoxy in the helicoil. ..

I'd say drill and tap... but it's really the same thing just insert metal coil instead. .. If u r trying to hold something for a lot of heavy duty lifting no way...
